The American Cancer Society will pay up to $1500 per patient per year for airfare and medications.
In order to get airfare covered by the ACS patients need to have:
Pathology report
Doctor's appointment date from the medical institution they are traveling to
Note from the doctor indicating they need to have someone accompany them (in order to have ACS pay for companion's ticket too).
The American Cancer Society will make the reservations and buy the airline tickets.
