Kimelman Cancer Institute

ICMC is the underwriter of the Radiation Therapy Suite at the Charlotte Kimelman Cancer Institute and platinum sponsors of the Institute's annual fundraising telethon.

The equipment in the radiation suite consists of a Varian Linear accelerator 21 CX and a Siemens Somotone CAT scan.

American Cancer Society Relay for Life

ICMC participates in the world-wide yearly American Cancer Society Relay for Life to raise cancer awareness and promote advocacy, volunteerism and cancer information while raising funds for the fight against cancer. The event brings together families, schools, churches, community businesses, health care professionals and public service organizations to celebrate life and give hope to cancer survivors and their families. ICMC is a proud Gold Sponsor and has a relay team in the annual event. ICMC also sponsors the dinner for Cancer Survivors at the event every year.

United Way

The United Way St Thomas-St John has completed 24 campaigns and has raised over $9.3 million dollars in its 25 years of existence. ICMC is a major corporate sponsor and Alexis de Tocqueville member. We contribute both financially and through the volunteer efforts of Cornel Williams, past President and Chairman of St Thomas-St John United Way.

The foster home offers a caring and stable environment for temporarily displaced children until those children are in a position to return to their own families or be placed in a permanent foster home.
