Dr. Elizabeth DelGiacco

Medical Oncologist and Hematologist


Dr. Ellie DelGiacco is a Medical Oncologist and Hematologist who has been treating patients on St. Croix since 2015. She wears many hats in the oncology scene as owner of a private practice and an attending physician at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital in both internal medicine and oncology/hematology. She also serves as Medical Director at Continuum Care Hospice and Home Care and the University of the Virgin Islands Campus Physician for the Albert A. Sheen Campus. When not providing care to patients, she loves playing tennis with her husband and baking with her three children, who are all under 6!

At her practice, St Croix Cancer Specialists, they are dedicated to providing cancer treatment close to home, where patients can rely on the support of family and friends. They are able to offer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, IV infusions, phlebotomy, and genetic testing. They accept all insurances including those without insurance.

On St. Croix, Dr. DelGiacco is American Board of Internal Medicine triple board certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology and Hematology. Originally from upstate New York, she completed a fellowship in medical oncology and hematology in Philadelphia and an internal medicine residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. She has a medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and graduated with Phi Sigma Sigma National Honor Society Honors in 2009.
