On Tuesday, March 4, we had the honor of hosting our Donor Appreciation Event, a heartfelt evening dedicated to celebrating our incredible supporters, dedicated volunteers, and passionate team members.
On January 30th, CSVI hosted a special reception to commemorate our 501(c)(3) nonprofit status, and honor the invaluable guidance and support from Community Foundation of the Virgin Islands (CFVI) over the past 20 years.
At Cancer Support VI, we’re here to ensure that no one faces cancer alone. Our dedicated Patient Advocate, Anique Harrigan, is here to support you every step of the way.

Survivor Spotlight — Petra is a two-time breast cancer survivor. Her journey has not only made her stronger, but changed her outlook and inspired her to help others.
We are shining a light on Melissa Lowe - Owner and founder of The Wellthy Mamma, breast cancer survivor & fighter, Virgin Islands resident, mom, wife, and a female entrepreneur on a mission of wellness shares her cancer journey to inspire others to know that you too shall overcome.
There are donors, and then there are givers. Willie Hamed, Vice President of The Market STT and Moe’s Fresh Market cares deeply for his community and he wants businesses to know that we “need more people like Willie.”
Barb Michaud CSVI Executive Director is the face and passion behind Pinktober. She launched Pinktober ten years ago after a conversation with the General Manager, Kris Macken, at Mahogany Run to pay it forward. Michaud, a breast cancer survivor (or whom she likes to coin “cancer warriors”), like many Virgin Islanders who can’t afford the cost of cancer, reached out to CSVI for financial support & resources to guide her along her cancer journey.

Diane Hampton is a cancer warrior and Co-Founder of the Vi Breast Cancer Project, offering support and art therapy for cancer survivors on St. Croix.
Lucie has been tirelessly advocating for cancer patients on St. Croix for over 20 years.

Dr. Ellie DelGiacco is one of the few Oncologists doing tremendous work for cancer patients in the Virgin Islands with offices located on St. Croix and St. Thomas. She walks us through the services offered on island, the importance of cancer prevention, and sheds light on the prevelance of cancer that can affect anyone, and most importantly, how the cancer journey of one person becomes a communities journey, our journey.
