Theodora Jackson-Flavius is a breast cancer fighter and two-time CSVI grantee. She is finally back home after a month in Newnan, Georgia for cancer treatment and excited to return to her sanctuary. Theodora is infinitely grateful for the financial assistance and support from CSVI throughout her journey.
Beyond the Grant
Patient Advocate, Anique Harrigan presented Ms. Jackson-Flavius with a gift bag filled with personalized CSVI items and specialized beauty products designed for cancer patients. These items were donated in partnership with Mrs. Raynette Richards of VI Ray of Sunshine.
Because the Charlotte Kimelman Cancer Institute remains closed, Virgin Islanders like Theodora find it challenging to seek treatment at home. Our patient grants can help cover the expenses of traveling for care, such as airline tickets, lodging, ground transportation, food and more. There is a continued need in the territory, which is why we’re tirelessly working to bridge the gap for cancer patients and their families.
