“Beyond the financial strain, navigating the system for resources and support felt overwhelming. I didn’t know many people on the island, and finding help became a day-to-day challenge. A good friend stepped in to drive me to appointments,  

but overall, assistance was limited. Stopping work only deepened my financial struggles, adding both medical and personal debt.  

When you’re diagnosed with cancer, everything falls on you—you don’t know where to turn, what to do, or how to manage. CSVI stepped in, offering guidance, helping me complete paperwork, and providing financial assistance when I needed it most.  

CSVI is a lifeline for people in our community facing cancer. Many organizations overlook the immediate, everyday burdens that come with a diagnosis, but CSVI understands. They listen, they care, and they help in ways that truly matter. I had nobody, but CSVI was there.”
